Uses Of Vodafone Mobile Script

There are four interesting videos using the MobileScript Engine. Allowing developers write easy code to access every phone function. All these widgets has been developed using HTML and JavaScript. These demos are running on a Windows Mobile phone. An interesting video is Virtual Desktop, a entire phone interface that integrate web 2.0 services allowing users make a relation between the phone data and the internet data. The services used by these interface are Google Maps, Weather Bug, Flickr and Facebook. Also you can view profiles into the same interface, for example if you are in away profile the phone shows where you are and the weather for this city. Wikia, The Wikipedia Search Engine

Wikia is a new Web Sercher. The final mission is compite with Google, but first impression are very unfortunate for wikia. Is Open Source based and its algorithm is based in social content. Is based on three Apache projects Nutch, Lucene y Hadoop. Is interesting view as Google and Wikipedia are fighting to make compite, because google will introduce a Wikipedia similar system. Really interesting the figth, I hope it will be better for the final user.

Knol - A New Wikipedia by Google

Google will introduce a new web page to write articles similar to the Wikipedia. Each article will be know as Knowlegde unit, and any article can have advertising and the earn will be shared with the author. In the begining the publish system would be with invitations like gmail few month ago.

Android: Easy Way To Develop Mobile Apps

As you know google has intrudec Android a Development Mobile Platform. With this platform you can develope easy app for mobile, the code is writted in Java. The source code is open and a communitie has been founded. Is interesting that now there's no mobile phone in market that supports android, in this case google thinks is more important firts a strong platform and after a mobile device. On the other hand the Apple case, first Apple introduce iPhone before the SDK (is expected for February 2008) and I think Apple doesn't have in the initial plans release the SDK, maybe iPhone jailbreak, a lot of interesting app for the iPhone and the Android Launch force the SDK. Also last news says about Apple has sent the SDK to developers few days ago.

The Latest Band Of Airwaves Avaliable

Apple is considering to bid on 700 MHz spectrum. This frequency is free as result of the digital TV switch. Other companies like Google also considering to bid for the band. This frequency is very usefull, because can trasmit to long distances and through objects. The question is, Why apple is interested?, perhaps media content distribution to any device?. Today wired technologies has grow fast but out of order, like wi-fi. Perhaps a new wireless technology with wide range.
