Open Phone Reader

From a small idea, an RSS reader, a project born with the intention of make a general purpose application, open source (Apache 2).

Through a standard and simply changing the context in which the application is used and the content of these feeds are talking we can get a large number of utilities for a single project.

The philosophy is to deply the application on any mobile platform. Today the targets are (iPhone, Android & Windows Mobile). Currently only the iPhone version is developed. You can checkout the code here

I leave you a video so you can see it working now

How to restore iPhone 3.1.2 version without shsh file

If you forgot to make the shsh (more info) file backup and you want to get your phone with the 3.1.2 (I think it does not work if you iPhone has been upgraded to 3.1.3) version you only need to create a custom image using pwnage 3.1.5 and restore it using iTunes. If you want to get the unlock you need to install the blacksn0w from cidia adding this address (http://blackra1n.com) to the respositories.

A common scenario to do this is if you iPhone is in boot loop or something similar and is needed a restore to wake up.

Use at your own risk.

Good Luck.
